No Flu Vaccines At this Time

Sunday, 15 November 2009 | by Hoagland Pharmacy

We currently do not have any seasonal or H1N1 vaccines in stock at this time. We are updating this site regularly in regards to our vaccine stock, so checking back here often or subscribing to this site is the best way to stay informed. While we are happy to answer any questions you may have, we are not able to take individual names to call when we do get more in stock. We thank you for your patience as we make our way through this crazy flu season!

Wow, we had a fabulous turn out for flu vaccinations on Saturday. For all you who braved the wind and the rain, thanks for coming out. With that said, we are once again out of both the seasonal vaccines and H1N1 vaccines. Please check back here for updates as to when we will have more in.

In case you’ve forgotten, there’s still a week left to receive 15% off of your Barlean’s Organic Oil purchases. If you haven’t tried them yet, now’s a good opportunity! Hope to see you in!

Travel Vaccines and More!

Sunday, 1 November 2009 | by Hoagland Pharmacy

Going on a trip? Need a tetanus booster? We offer more than just flu vaccines. There’s no consultation fee, rarely ever an administrative fee (and we’d let you know if there was going to be one), and our prices are usually lower. And the best part is, when you come into Hoagland Pharmacy for your vaccinations, no doctor’s visit or prescription is needed. Appointments are available Monday-Friday 9am-11:45am and 1:15pm-5pm. Please call ahead to arrange a time.

Check out the list of vaccines we offer over on our immunizations page. If you have any questions about pricing or the vaccines, please contact Ruth Lang, LPN at 734.5413 x118.

And They’re Gone Again … But Come by for Some Barlean’s Supplements!

Thursday, 29 October 2009 | by Hoagland Pharmacy

We are once again out of seasonal flu shots for ages 4 years through adults. It seems to be a cutthroat biz out there when it comes to flu shots this year. If we get another shipment in, we will let you know.

Just a reminder that a representative from Barlean’s Organic Oils will be at the retail store tomorrow (Oct 30th) between noon and 4 to answer any product questions you may have and to hand out samples. In conjunction with that we are offering 15% off all our Barlean’s products until November 16th. This is a great time to think about stocking up on supplements to help keep you healthy through this flu and cold season!

Child and Adult Vaccines Available

Tuesday, 27 October 2009 | by Hoagland Pharmacy

We have 75 doses of the seasonal flu vaccine (with preservatives) for ages 4 years through adults available. If you haven’t gotten one yet this year, come on by the retail store between 9am-5pm Monday-Friday or 9am-4pm on Saturday.

We also have preservative-free pediatric vaccines for ages 6 months to 36 months. If this is your child’s first vaccine they will need two doses about a month apart, so let us know!

Still no word on when we will receive the H1N1 vaccine. According to an article I read in Time Magazine the government has backed off the original estimate of 120 million doses by mid-October. They have shipped out some (11 million) and are hoping to ship out another 50 million by mid-November and 150 million in mid-December. The flu virus in grown in chicken eggs and can be somewhat unreliable to culture causing delays in production. In the meantime, remember to wash your hands often, cover your coughs, stay home if you’re not feeling well, and avoid touching your eyes!

Now you know as much as I do about the current availability!
